Director, MOSTYN, Llandudno
Since 2011 he has been the Director of MOSTYN Visual Arts Centre, the foremost institution for contemporary art in Wales, and Head Curator of APT Global, Artist Pension Trust. He compliments his work in Wales with active participation in the visual art world. In recent years this has included curating EXPO VIDEO in Chicago, three national pavilions at the Venice Biennale (Mauritius in 2015, and both Wales and Maldives in 2013), and biennials such as Sequences VII in Iceland and Manifesta 8 in Spain.
Cramerotti is Research Scholar at eCPR – European Centre for Photography Research, University of South Wales (UK), and Visiting Lecturer at major universities and art colleges throughout Europe and the Americas as well as regularly publishing, broadcasting and public speaking. He is a contributor to Kybernein, a cultural research unit, and co-founder of AGM Culture, a roaming curatorial agency, and CPS-Chamber of Public Secrets, an art & media production collective, as well as Editor of the Critical Photography book series by Intellect. His own publications include the books Aesthetic Journalism: How to inform without informing (2009), Unmapping the City: Perspectives of Flatness (2010) and the forthcoming Forewords to the Hyperimage (2017).
