Lives and works in Liverpool

Bio: Lives and works in Liverpool Within my work, I often refer to the classic painting tradition and use different media to explore and play with this tradition. Symbolism within painting plays an important role in my work. New works combine my paintings and drawings with digital media. By animating the images, my intention is to emphasize further the meaning and bring out the ideas that were initially explored through the drawings.  Landscape painting is used to represent internal states of being. I graduated in 2009 with a BA in Fine Art from Kingston University. Exhibitions include ‘Richard of York Gave Battle In Vain’, g39, Cardiff (2014), 'Whistling In The Dark', Kings Artist Run Initiative, Melbourne, Australia (2012) and ‘External Machines’, Royal Standard, Liverpool (2015)
